Hit me with your question stick!!!
Just a quick follow-up to today's earlier post - if you have any questions about any of the Microsoft technologies I've talked about already (SharePoint, SQL Server, Office) or technologies that make use of their capabilties (PerformancePoint Services, Team Foundation Server, et alia) - feel free to drop me a line and I'll take a stab at putting together a coherent answer. I'm happy to do so gratis as I'll be getting something out of it too. (That is - new topics to blog about that I know will have an audience!) I'm not above throwing together some short screen-scraped demos to walk through whatever needs to be explained.

WOW you're a brave soul
I have to say, Office 2007 is kinda growing on me - I like the improved functionality in Excel, particularly, but I do loathe the "ribbon", which makes it feel like it's been dumbed-down a lot. When I first had to have the upgrade (I resisted as long as possible because our old version of TM1 wasn't compatible with 2007
) I hated it - I really thought it was MS catering to the lowest common denominator.
That's about all I use, though, of the suite - Word I only need in a fairly perfunctory sort of fashion. Other than that it's PL/SQL Developer, Crystal Reports and TM1.
@Morgane - You might not exactly be my ideal target audience then - however, you might be interested in some of the stuff I'll be putting together on PerformancePoint server in coming months. PerformancePoint server uses SharePoint's Excel Services, SQL Server Analysis Services and ProClarity Analytics for data visualization in a true business performance management solution that's split into Planning, Monitoring and Analysis modules. Some of the report widgets for data exploration are great, and in true Microsoft fashion, they've made it connect to just about everything possible (SAP, Excel, Flat files, Oracle, ODBC/OLEDB/ADO.NET data providers, access databases, WCF services, SharePoint's Business Data Catalog and more). It won't necessarily address what you do with the tools you've got - but it might show you a different approach that might actually save some money next time you need to do a tools refresh.
I may not be the target audience but I'll definitely still be reading with interest
The PPS stuff does sound really intriguing!
@Morgane - Glad to have you onboard. Feel free to share the address with some of your sysadminny folk...
They might get some additional value-add out of the SharePoint content!
I totally would, except I would prefer that nobody at work know about my Xanga page
@Morgane - Muhahahahaaaaa... I understand. You don't want word of your Xanga 1337-ness leaking out to the outside world, lest people discover your plans for world domination and high resolution photography!
@Ged1970 - Curses! You saw straight through me! And I was being so stealthy an' all
